Alan Ferguson

Alan was appointed president of US Assure in 2019 to lead corporate strategy and the day-to-day operational decisions at the company.

Prior to this, he was our chief underwriting officer, overseeing the underwriting integrity of programs administered by US Assure and the development of new products, and establishing standards for our service center. Since joining the company in 1993, Alan has been a key contributor to the advancement of our technology platform and product portfolio. Early in his career, he led efforts to develop and release our online policy issuance system.

Alan is a graduate of Jacksonville University. He is also recognized as a member of the United Way Tocqueville Society and an active supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida.

When Alan isn’t steering our mission to be the most innovative builders risk insurance provider, you’ll find him enjoying time with his wife and three children, on the open seas searching for the next big catch or building cool stuff in his woodshop.
